Painting Tenderness
There is something quite beautiful about a pregnant woman! It is an honor to paint a woman who is about to have a baby -- she glows with love. I only use natural light to paint. The light coming through my living room window provides an incredible atmosphere for painting.
When my friend's daughter arrived, we placed her in front of my window, and voila! The light coming in behind her brought out that "glow" that we always see on pregnant women! All I had to do was to paint it.
